The 5 Mindset Secrets of The Most Iconic Black Women

Mindsets are our driving forces. They determine and frame the way in which we live our lives and even define if they will be successful or not. So, when it comes to acquiring success and being the best version of ourselves growing and developing our mindsets is a must.

But first, you need to understand your current mindset in order to reprogram it for success. Next, you need to believe that you are actually worthy of that mindset and that you can be that person you’ve always looked up to.

I’ve grown up looking up to women like Oprah, Michelle Obama, and J.K Rowling. They are all incredible women, who rose from nothing and showed the world unapologetically exactly who they we.

Here Are 10 Powerful Black Women Who Inspired me to Grow My Mindset for Success:

1. Oprah Winfrey:

We all know and love Oprah, and Grew with Oprah Being a Possibility for all Black Women who aspire to make a Change In the World! She’s a self-made billionaire and one of the most influential women in the world. But if she didn’t challenge the status quos in her career and just follow the industry norms then she would have been just another talk show host.

And it’s her mindset that made her stand out from the rest. In a competitive industry, it can be easy to feel pressured into doing what is expected of you. But if we did this then nothing would ever change or evolve. But her readiness to challenge and break industry standards by showing no personality has made her a household name.

Beyonce has never been one to turn down a single opportunity as she believes risks always pay off eventually. Her advice was, "I can never be safe; I always try and go against the grain. As soon as I accomplish one thing, I just set a higher goal. That's how I've gotten to where I am."

I would suggest you to watch the Movie the Hidden Figures, beyond great performances, this is a story of empowerment, of black women overcoming the double barriers of race and gender. They not only succeed, but in their journey they become heroes in America’s race to space against Russia.

Nina Simone was much more than a "smoky-toned jazz and blues singer," as many writers have characterized her.
